the question is... are they onto something with the new guy?

i went to NYE and had fun but it was up and down.... now listening again, it sounds better.... not quite there yet but i would see them again.

anyone go to mill valley? how was it?.... looks like they were doing an hour twenty set with a real mixed bag of tunes. definitely looked interesting.

EDIT:

whats up johnnyots.... i was not that impressed with the new guy. mostly because i wanted him to step out more. ok, i know he can BLEND IN, but can he lead the band? that would make them better, if he could lead them at least musically, if not spiritually,

if you are that DSO guy - this is it! make IT happen... i think he might be able to make a contribution. phil and bobby seemed into it.

I thought the 12/30 show was better played. The second set was worth hearing at least twice for me.
